Qualifications and Experience

Applicants must have a Master’s degree in one of the following fields or a related discipline:

• Physical Education
• Sports Management
• Civil Engineering
• Public Administration
• Business Administration
• Economics
• Quantity Surveying

Candidates must also have at least 10 years of working experience, including a minimum of five years in a senior leadership position, preferably within the sports industry. Experience in sports infrastructure management is an added advantage.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

The Chief Executive Officer will oversee SIMA’s operations and administration. Main responsibilities include:

• Managing the Agency’s daily operations.
• Preparing strategic plans, business plans and budgets.
• Implementing approved plans and monitoring performance targets.
• Managing staff, Agency assets and resources.
• Overseeing procurement and supplies.
• Preparing and submitting performance reports.
• Maintaining relationships with the Ministry, customers and stakeholders.
• Serving as Secretary to the Ministerial Advisory Board and the official spokesperson of the Agency.
