Driver II – 8 Posts
Duties and Responsibilities
The successful applicants will be
responsible for:
- Inspecting vehicles before and after trips to
ensure safety.
- Driving government staff to different locations for
official duties.
- Performing minor vehicle repairs.
- Recording and maintaining trip information in the
vehicle logbook.
- Collecting and distributing documents.
- Keeping the vehicle clean.
Qualifications
Applicants must have:
- Form Four (CSEE) certificate.
- A Class E or C driving licence.
- At least 1 year of driving experience
without causing an accident.
- Relevant training certificates qualifying them for
the respective driving class.
- Completed a Basic Driving Course offered by
VETA or another government-recognized institution.
Salary Scale: TGS B.
General Requirements

- Be Tanzanian citizens and generally not exceed 45
years of age.
- Attach a certified birth certificate.
- Attach certified academic and professional
certificates relevant to the position.
- Ensure foreign qualifications are verified by the
relevant authorities.
- Follow the stated requirements regarding public
service employment and retirement status.

results, statements of results, and Form IV/Form VI results slips are not
accepted.
