PSRS Jobs 2026: 4 Assistant Lecturer Vacancies at LST and CBE

The Public Service Recruitment Secretariat (PSRS) has announced four (4) Assistant Lecturer vacancies on behalf of the Law School of Tanzania (LST) and the College of Business Education (CBE).

The opportunities are available to qualified Tanzanian professionals in Law and Information Technology-related fields.

1. Law School of Tanzania (LST) Jobs – 3 Posts

LST is recruiting Assistant Lecturers in the following specializations:

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants must have:

• A Master's Degree in Law with a GPA of 3.8 or above.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Law with a GPA of 3.5 or above.
• At least five years of experience as a practising advocate.
• Successful completion of the Postgraduate Diploma in Law at the Law School of Tanzania or a previous internship programme.

Experience in teaching, research and consultancy will be an added advantage.

Main Duties

• Provide guidance and instructions to candidates.
• Prepare learning resources and teaching manuals.
• Conduct research, seminars and case studies.
• Supervise students' fieldwork and research.
• Participate in consultancy and community services under supervision.

2. College of Business Education (CBE) Jobs – 1 Post

Position: Assistant Lecturer (Networking)

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants must possess:

• A Master's Degree (NTA Level 9) or equivalent qualification.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications or Electronics.
• Master's degree GPA of at least 4.0 or equivalent of B+.
• Bachelor's degree GPA of at least 3.8.
• Similar or related fields of study at both Bachelor's and Master's levels.

Main Duties

• Teach up to NTA Level 8 (Bachelor's Degree).
• Assist senior staff with practical training, seminars and tutorials.
• Prepare learning resources and teaching materials.
• Conduct research, seminars and case studies.
• Supervise student projects.
• Participate in workshops, conferences and consultancy activities.

Applicants must meet the following conditions:

• Be Tanzanian citizens and not above 45 years of age.

• Attach a birth certificate and relevant professional registration documents, where applicable.

• Ensure foreign qualifications are recognized by the relevant authorities.

Public servants and retired public servants are not eligible under this announcement.
